Zlatan Puts Us In A Celebratory Mood With ‘Fada’ + More Trending New African Songs

November is starting with a big bang, loud, groovy sneers and danceable tunes. African artists have mastered the art of turning a frown right-side up with the perfect tune. This is something they did this week amidst the tragedies that have been happening across the continent. Zlatan linked up with the kings of the South, Phyno and Flavour to deliver a celebratory new song titled Fada just in time to kick off the end-of-the-year festivities.

Over in South Africa, house music duo Mafikizolo returned to the scene after a long hiatus to reclaim their crown in the house scene with Mamezala, a song that is soon to take over SA’s clubs. Just in time for the weekend, we’ve curated five trending and groovy songs to party to this weekend.

Nigerian serial hitmaker and Zanku Music CEO, Zlatan is out with another banging tune titled Fada. If Zlatan is known for one thing, it’s impressive collaborations. He brought that energy on this song as he featured two of Nigeria’s best, Flavour and Phyno as they brought the Southern vibe on the track. The song is off Zlatans newly released album, Resan.

#2. Ladipoe ft. Rema – Afro Jigga

Prolific Nigerian rapper and songsmith, Ladipoe, hit the studio once again with a new number, Afro Jigga, as he enlists Nigerian music export, Rema to add his vibe to the sound. Afro Jigga is off Ladipoe’s recently released EP, Providence. Both music maestros give their best vocals to ensure that this new entry, was a successful and euphoric one.

#3. Mafikizolo ft. Simmy – Mamezala

South African music duo, Mafikizolo, consisting of composer Theo Kgosinkwe and lead singer Nhlanhla Nciza are back after a long hiatus with a refreshing new single titled Mamezala. The duo decided to take over the SA streets with this tune featuring house music singer, Simmy. This song is in tune with Mafikizolo’s sound, one that is greatly appreciated across Africa.

#4. Yaw Tog – Sei Mu

Ghanaian drill sensation, Yaw Tog has dropped another sick tune titled Sei Mu. The new entry is a midtempo-produced tune which serves as a follow up to his EP, Time and also his last song for the year. #5. Crossdaboss ft. Ajebutter22 – Feeling Funky

Reality TV star, Crossdaboss best identified as BBNaija’s Cross has joined the growing list of BBNaija contestants who have gone into the music industry. He debuted with a lovely Amapiano record titled Feeling Funky. Not taking the journey alone, the singer enlisted talented vocalist, Ajebutter22 for smooth delivery. The groovy track, produced by TMXO and Spinall was inspired by his recent experience in the Big Brother house and his general funky approach to life.
