The collection features structured jackets, finely tailored pants, dresses with cut-outs and slits all made from Damask, Sequins, Velvet, Wool and the use of Lace as embellishments and so much more. There’s so much ‘sauce‘ in this collection and both men and women are catered for.
The collection by budding fashion brand, Morafa was inspired by the Black Panthers of the 60s’. According to a statement from the brand,
“The glory days when men and women walked around with so much confidence and their fashion was as iconic as their movement. The dawn of a new era, the rise of the new cool black, an era of creativity and visually celebrating true blackness, an era when black was poetry, the black panthers made us realize how powerful being Black is, worthy of imitation and praise“.
