One of the things people look forward to during summer is the rollout of songs that match the vibe, songs people can vibe to. As summer draws closer, artistes across Africa are releasing bop-worthy jams that set the tone for everyone’s favorite season. One of such examples is the recent release by Mr Eazi as he teams up with Dre Skull and Jamaican dancehall artist, Popcaan on the track Sekkle & Bop. It seems we may have a new anthem for summer 2021.

Nigerian singer Mr Eazi teamed up with Mixpak label head Dre Skull and Jamaican dancehall star, Popcaan for this new song titled Sekkle & Bop. The song is infused with dancehall and afro-pop and it is sure to have you catching your first post-pandemic summer wine.
2. Skales ft. Davido – This your body
After his 2020 Healing process EP, Skales has returned to the scene with a new song. His new single This Your Body, a collaboration with Davido, is an ode to the prospect of a hookup. On this infectious tune, both artistes sing about the joy that comes after fulfilling a long-awaited craving for romantic companionship.
3. Bisa Kdei – Slow
Multi-talented Ghanaian highlife singer Bisa Kdei ends the month with this lovely afrobeat flavored song titled Slow. It follows the successful release of Hallelujah a few months ago. In this song, Kdei delivers a low-tempo romantic song that would leave listeners falling in love all over again.
4. DJ Neptune ft Wande Coal – Music messiah
Anytime DJ Neptune and Wande Coal collaborate, it’s always a banger. These two are back again to deliver an Afro-amapiano song titled Music Messiah on which they eulogize their musical lordship.
5. Korede Bello – Fine fine
Korede Bello comes through with a spanking new single titled Fine Fine and this excitingly new single is the energy to love. If you’re familiar with Korede Bello’s music, you know he seizes every opportunity to hype his girl and that’s what you’ll get on this song—love, hype, and more love. The type that sets us into wiggle mode.
