Another week, another roll out of amazing African songs by singers and rappers across Africa. July is not slowing down with the gift of amazing African songs it has been giving us, nicely wrapped and sent our way.

After many promises, internationally acclaimed king of modern Afrobeats, Wizkid has finally released the debut single off his next and highly anticipated album Made in LagosAdekunle Gold also surprised us with a new groovy jam a few weeks after becoming a father.

1. Adekunle Gold & Nailah Blackman – AG Baby

Nigerian singer, songwriter and graphic designer, Adekunle Gold releases a brand new song titled, AG Baby. On AG Baby, Adekunle Gold features Trinidadian singer and songwriter, Nailah Blackman. This song serves as one of the song on his forthcoming EP Afro Pop vol 1. Instagram.

2. Wizkid ft H.E.R – Smile

African musical champion Wizkid released his latest song which is also the first single off his next album yesterday. The song, titled Smile, features Grammy award winning US singer/songwriter H.E.R. The song’s theme of unconditional love and the things we do for it, features Wizkid and H.E.R. going in over an infectious reggae beat which will leave you giving heavily to it. Instagram.

3. Mussa Effect – Woshora

Rising Zimbabwean afro-pop and contemporary traditional artist Mussa effect has released another beautiful song Woshora. The song was accompanied by a video which showcases the beauty of Zimbabwe’s cultures as well as the people of Zimbabwe.

4. YCEE – MIDF (Money I dey find)

Off his recently released EP; Quarantunes EP, Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter, Oludemilade Martin Alejo, better known as Ycee releases a new single titled, Midf (Money I Dey Find). The WXLA produced song is a continuation of his YCEE vs Zaheer album and also shows off his Rapper and singer sides.

5. Cuppy ft Rema and RayVanny – Jollof On Jet

African Disc Jockey, recording artist and producer, Cuppy has released her first song of the year 2020 titled Jollof on the Jet. The global performer has announced this as the lead song to her upcoming debut Album Original Copy. On Jollof on Jet, Cuppy enlists the help of Rema and Tanzanian artist RayVanny to deliver their smooth slice of Afro pop. Instagram.
