Harper’s Bazaar Singapore May issue features popular model of colour Winnie Harlow. The fashion editorial spread has three fabulous covers and in all three cover Winnie who hasn’t let vitiligo stopped her sway wears pieces from Burberry, jewelry from Cartier and head pieces that are stunning and elaborate.
The focus of Harper’s Bazaar’s May issue was aimed at the selling point “Diversity” and they couldn’t have chosen a better person to reflect these words as Winnie Harlow’s unique look and ethnicity breaks the statuesque.
Winnie covers the magazine because she’s a part of the voices that stand loud and proud when it comes to advocating for acceptance in the fashion, lifestyle and beauty industry. She stands for equality and empowerment which resonates with a lot of people who feel they are not worthy to be in the spotlight. The top model has been breaking rules and borders having been featured in several beauty campaigns with millions of followers which has forced the world to discourse “pushing boundaries” when it comes to what’s considered beautiful.
