Lately everything seems to be happening in favour of Yaba. From Mark Zuckerberg‘s timely visit to Jidenna‘s stop in the city during his recent homecoming tour, Yaba has been getting all the global spotlight that even cities on the Island can’t boast of.
Ace photographer TY Bello got together with the ‘king of Ankara style’ to digitize the musician’s homecoming and the resulting images are some of the most artistic images we’ve seen recently. From the styling to the traditional mask, the shoot was a beautiful union of fashion, music, art and culture.
