As a fashion lover, I’ll have to admit that it can be sometimes tough getting style inspirations from our Nigerian celebs. The factors surrounding the lack of commitment towards uploading their latest hot looks by many celebs, deemed stylish, is best known to them. However, we are grateful for the likes of Toke Makinwa, Kika Osunde, Ini Dima-Okojie and Adesua Etomi who are consistent with serving their fans with their latest style takes – I mean there are many who depend on this to survive (jokes).
These leading ladies who came through this weekend are among a long list of fashionable women in Africa. Thanks to their latest fashion styles from these Nigerian celebs, we have a few more pointers for our style reservoir.
Here’s a look at what some of your favourite celebrities wore this past weekend…
The personal taste of these women totally came through. For one Toke’s blue and white lace dress by Mr Self-Portrait was super classy and elegant. We loved the peekaboo sheer details as it made the dress even more fascinating – you could say she really pulled a Blake Lively with this one. Then for actress Ufuoma McDermott, it was more of a risk with her leopard print ensemble but she pulled it off quite nicely.
The flair in these weekend looks is definitely spicy enough to keep us excited till the end of the week.
