Creative director, Winnie Beattie’s idea for Warm’s ready-to-wear Pre-Fall 2019 collection was to create clothing that is perfect for refreshing summer nights. The designer was also inspired by requests from customers for transitional pieces that work for warm weather yet sit well during the beginning of the Fall season. With the Warm Pre-Fall 2019 collection, the brand is pleased to appease both requests.
According to Winnie “In summer, everyone’s tan. Everyone feels thinner even if they’re not… maybe it’s just the tan… but for me, I make happy clothes and clothes that try to make you feel happy and like you’re on vacation while grinding it out in the city.”
Designing a collection that reminds you of warm summer night certainly requires the use of vibrant prints, hence the reason why the collection includes washed silk jumpsuits, geode minis, rompers and jumpsuits with pussy bows – all in prints, of course.
The allure of the collection comes from the easy flow of the pieces which also include striped cotton dresses, washed macro-floral printed silk, matching surf poncho and trousers and plaid “rainbow” cover-ups. All of which proves that she stayed true to her signature versatility.
