The first quarter of 2023 is wrapping up really nicely as Afrobeats artistes keep delivering memorable bops. Starting off the list of releases this week is Victony who released the remix to the Tempoe-produced hit, Soweto featuring Rema and American rapper, Don Toliver. The addition of these two A-list artistes to an already great track shattered its limits.

Ajebo Hustlers are not catching a break either. The singing duo is back with a new song titled You Go Know just three months after the release of their Bad Boy Etiquette EP. We’ve curated this list of the best and trendiest five songs to get the party started this weekend.

Check out the top 5 trending new Afrobeats songs released this week…

#1. Victony ft. Rema, Don Toliver – Soweto (Remix)

In the past few days, a series of Soweto Remix snippets with artistes like Omah Lay, CKay, and Don Toliver surfaced online and we were unsure who Victony was finally going to remix the song with. Fast forward to Wednesday, the singer released the official remix of the infectious banger featuring American singer, Don Toliver and Afrobeats golden boy, Rema. On the Soweto remix, Don Toliver and Rema added the needed seasoning to the track. They both delivered, flowing seamlessly on the mellifluous instrumentation of the track, provided by one of the most talented beatmakers in the Nigerian music industry, the one and only Tempoe.

#2. Ajebo Hustlers – You Go Know

Ajebo Hustlers have come through with a new single titled You Go Know. The dynamic duo opens their 2023 chapter after a spectacular outing in the previous year. On You Go Know, the lyrics highlight the struggle of the duo who consistently work hard to make a living and the dedication that is required to succeed in life. The catchy chorus “I believe in myself, all your doubt opari opari o” emphasizes the message Ajebo Hustlers are trying to convey, which is that success will always come to those who work hard and believe in themselves.
