After the Nigerian presidential address that left everybody shook, and not in a good way, new music is something people have been looking forward to for nerve relaxation. Lucky enough for us, Nigerian pop duo VanJess released the perfect song for the moment, High and Dry, where they sing about what to do when you’re left high and dry.
Ghanaian A-List artist, Stonebwoy has also teamed up with Scottish singer, Emeli Sande to release a beautifully produced love song titled More of you. To make sure your weekend goes well, we’ve put together this list of surefire floor-fillers featuring new songs from around Africa.

2. Emeli Sande, Stonebwoy & Nana Rogue – More of you
Scottish singer and songwriter, Emeli Sande taps Ghanaian BET Award winner – Stonebwoy and producer Nana Rogues on her new record titled More of You. Stonebwoy bags yet another international collaboration following his song Nominate which features American singer, Keri Hilson.
3. Diles Ailes – No one
Dice Ailes lends his voice to the #EndSARS movement with the release of No One. The artist sings about how he sees no one by his side when oppressions and brutality comes. Dice Ailes pleads for Unity and Harmony sharing that our skin colours, religions and tribes and cultures shouldn’t continue to factor the human division.
4. AKA, Sho Madjozi, Flvme – Casino
South African heavyweight rapper, AKA has released the highly anticipated song — Casino featuring Sho Madjozi and Flvme. The song Casino is off AKA’s forthcoming project, Bhovamania album which serves as follow-up to his three songs Cross My Heart, Energy and Monuments released few weeks ago.
5. Wallz, Oxlade, Lamii – No Level
Upcoming gifted Nigerian artist, Wallz teams up with rising star Oxlade and Lamii to deliver another banger titled No Level. This song serves as one of the singles on his newly released EP, Big Ball. In a year that has been dubbed The rise of underground artists, this song serves as another offering by another big potential artist.
