Miracle Watts and Tyler Lepley are expecting their first child together. The happy couple announced the news on Instagram with a cinematic-style video that instantly went viral. “A LOVE STORY,” Watts captioned the video, which showed them recreating a scene from the 2004 film, “The Notebook.”

The couple climbed into a baby blue convertible after expressing their love for one other. Miracle happily displayed her developing baby bump in a yellow two-piece while sharing a romantic moment with her lover when the two arrived at their destination.

Congratulations to the couple on their relationship milestone.

2. Nigeria: Many feared killed as explosion rocks Sabon Gari area of Kano

An explosion occurred on Aba Road in Kano’s Sabon Gari neighborhood, injuring several persons and reportedly killing nine. The source of the explosion is yet unknown, but images from the scene reveal that it damaged some buildings and injured several people, including schoolchildren. The images also show that the blast killed numerous people, with at least one body lying on the ground. Following the explosion, a throng formed, with some attempting to assist the injured and others mourning the damage.

Several youngsters were seen being transported away from the blast site in early images. One of them had been hurt. This raised the possibility that the explosion happened in a school. The Kano State Government, however, has stated that this is not the case. The explosion happened across the street from the school, according to Muhammad Garba, the state’s Commissioner for Information.

The reason for the explosion has been unclear, with some accounts claiming it was caused by a bomb. The cause of the explosion and the damage that followed have yet to be determined, according to the commissioner. Mr. Garba further stated that an inquiry into the cause, impact, and actions to be taken has begun.

3. South Africa: Amanda du-Pont hits back at dating rumors

Media personality Amanda du Pont has asked a well-known blogger to keep her name out of his rumors. After the blogger claimed she was photographed with her new beau in Cape Town, the actress vehemently denied it. She took to Twitter to clear the air, sharing a video of herself and her friends out together and stating that the man in the photos was actually her security. “The original video. An afternoon riding bikes and scooters with my friends. The image you posted seems to be a malicious cropped version to insinuate rumors. For clarity, the man in the image is my bodyguard. A polite plea to leave my name out your gossip.”

There have been rumors doing the rounds that the actress has split from her husband Shawn Rodriques. However, the star has been spotted still wearing her ring.

4. Kenya’s Sauti Sol threatens to sue presidential campaign

Sauti Sol, a Kenyan music band, has vowed to sue Raila Odinga‘s presidential campaign for alleged copyright violation. During the announcement of Martha Karua as the Azimio la Umoja Coalition’s running mate, Mr. Odinga’s social media accounts are claimed to have used Sauti Sol’s song “Extravaganza” as a soundtrack. Sauti Sol issued a statement on Twitter condemning the exploitation of their music in ongoing political campaigns. They said they were not “aligned to nor associated with the Azimio la Umoja campaign or any other political movement and/or party. We are disappointed by the Azimio la Umoja campaign’s blatant disregard of our right to control the use of our copyright.” The ODM party, which is part of the Azimio coalition and to which Mr. Odinga belongs, said they appreciated Sauti Sol’s music, and “playing their song…was a show of love for their work.”

But some online users have lashed out at the band, pointing out that Mr. Odinga’s coalition had paid the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) more than $4,800 in license fees to use copyrighted musical works in their campaign. The MCSK is a state body that oversees the payment of royalties to artists in the country. Many artists, however, including Sauti Sol, have faulted the copyright body on the structure it uses to compensate them.

5. Pogba offered a three-year deal at Juventus as Man Utd star considers potential return to Turin

Paul Pogba has been offered a three-year deal by Juventus to potentially seal a return to Turin ahead of his expected Manchester United exit this summer. The France international’s contract is up at Old Trafford at the end of June and he is widely expected to depart after six frustrating seasons at the Theatre of Dreams. A return to Juventus, where he previously played before returning to United for a second spell in 2016, looks to be one of the likely options for his future and now the Italian giants have tabled an official offer to the player.

The Bianconeri are preparing a contract for three years that would tie the World Cup winner back to Turin until the end of the 2024-25 season. Reports say the new contract would pay Pogba an annual salary of €7.5 million (£6.3m/$7.9m) and would come with a roster of bonuses for the midfielder. However, Pogba has reportedly asked for €11 million (£9.3m/$11.6m), leaving a stumbling block between player and club on final wage packets.
