A fashion and culture enthusiast who's really a food loving…
As life gradually returns to a semi-normal state, celebrities and style stars across Africa – who happen to also be some of the best fashion influencers on Instagram – are finding more reasons to dress up, step out and make a fashion statement before the curfew kicks in wherever they are.
African celebrities and top fashion influencers are consistently using their style on Instagram to prove that a global pandemic doesn’t equal an end to doing the things we love––especially if it keeps us going. Nigerian celebrity news.
Even as we continuously preach the gospel of safety and ask that you observe social distancing rules, we also want to re-emphasize the fact that a fashionable outfit should not only make you look good on the outside but also make you feel confident from the inside out. That confidence is exactly what we can feel from the women on this list.
Last week, some of the most stylish celebrities and style stars in Africa stepped out in a range of amplified looks which they, of course, shared on Instagram. Nigerian celebrities, as usual, stole the show with Nollywood star Ini Edo leading the ladies as she posed in a black and gold number by budding fashion house Secrets of April. The dress features exaggerated sleeves and shoulder details.
Designer, Tolu Bally, on the other hand, showed off her color blocking skills in a vintage-inspired dress featuring elbow-bishop sleeves with a puff. Nollywood actress Beverly Naya kept things simple as she took to Instagram to celebrate her birthday in an ankle-length white blazer dress with an under-arm cutout. She paired the Knanfe-made stunner with a pair of Yves Saint Laurent black pumps.
In South Africa, TV and radio personality, Luthando Shosha, sure gave us reasons to want to steal our man’s suit and run to the Gram with it. She showed off an oversized blue suit which was paired with a pair of two-toned metallic pumps. She finished off her look with an unexpected brown triangle-shaped bag. Who knew geometry could be so cool? Nigerian celebrity news. African celebrities.
The looks shared last week by African celebrities and fashion influencers were nothing short of glamorous and it’s safe to say that we’re living vicariously through them.
