Tommie Lee, Cassie, Fergie And More Celebs Are All Into The Versace Barocco Print Trend

The nineties footprints are all over this millennium! From retro cat-eye glasses to the visor cum to the trending Fendi print and now the Versace Barocco silk print that is taking over the fashion scene.
As a tribute to Gianni Versace’s epic Fall/Winter 1991 collection and the love and passion he put into his work, for Versace’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection, Donatella Versace reached into Gianni’s archive and reproduced a broad range of prints from his past works. The designer re-worked her brother’s beloved Versace Barocco print, an ink printing technique that is crafted onto a piece of fabric by hand using separate screens, lending exceptional vibrancy to the print colours.
The SS18 collection is quite spectacular and features a lot of trendy touches for the modern day woman. The pieces are fun and flirty and it seems that celebrities are really into its retro vibe as big names like Cassie, Fergie, Katy Perry and Trina have all been spotted in pieces from the collection. Other style stars who have rocked the print include Tommie Lee, Alexis Sky, Keyshia Ka’oir and FKA Twigs.
