In the face of the growing coronavirus pandemic, social distancing has been highly recommended as well as washing your hands with soap and disinfecting surfaces you touch regularly. In many places, there’s a lockdown in place and many people are stuck at home. I don’t know about you but for me, nothing keeps me sane at home more than some good music!. Timi Dakolo and Olamide want us to Take and we’re doing just that!

Burna Boy, on the other hand, gave us the video to one of his latest singles titled Odogwu. The video takes Burna Boy to the Eastern Part of Nigeria and he says anytime he reaches Igbo Land, he is called “Odogwu,” which means “Great Man.”

He sings about stepping out in a Bentley with diamonds on every ring you can see. If there is anything we know for sure, it’s the fact that Burna Boy knows how to hype himself and he is proving to be worth every hype.

3. Rema, Manny Norté, 6lack, Tion Wayne, LVRN – 4 AM

Manny Norté drops his latest single titled 4 AM in which he collaborates with Rema, 6LACK and Love Renaissance with each artist doing rhythmic justice to their lines. This fusion of Afrobeats and pop music is just the right tune to keep you company all weekend long. 

4. Blaqbonez – Haba

Self-acclaimed best rapper in Africa, Blaqbonez is out with his debut single for the year titled Haba. Haba is an expression to calm a dangerous situation or slowdown a fast reaction/reflex. Blaqbonez shares this with the lady that wants to take his life with her body and killer moves.


5. Bigiano – Go Crazy

If you partied hard in 2008 and 2009, then Bigiano will definitely ring a bell as he gave us the shayo tunes. After over a decade, Bigiano is back to the music scenes to let us know that time may have passed but he still remains relevant. This he does with the release of two singles, one of them being Go Crazy.
