Lisa Aidoo and her husband Addofio Addo recently took to the beach for their maternity shoot as photographed by Dametreus Ward of Meech213 and retouched by Luis Guillén.
Lisa Aidoo is an LA-based realtor, ex-Miss Ghana USA 2013, and founder of Laidoo Beauty. Addofio Addo, on the other hand, is an Executive Director at All One Blood – a sickle cell advocacy organization and talent manager to Grammy-nominated producer Nana Kwabena.
With an advocacy for social distancing still in place across the world, the couple who are expecting their baby by the second week of May opted for a maternity shoot instead of the originally planned baby shower. The result was magazine-worthy timeless images, thanks to the shoot’s sepia theme.
Lisa and Addofio took to their Instagram pages to share that they are so happy to start a new chapter in their lives and are not keen on the sex of the baby so long as the baby is healthy. So expect no gender-reveal gimmicks from these two.
For the shoot, Lisa opted for a breezy tulle layered sleeve maxi dress which is just perfect for a beach shoot, while Addofio opted for a fitted t-shirt, striped linen pants, and the perfect boater beach hat.
The look of love as they were completely mesmerized with each other is one that would make any single person wish they were in love and any married couple thinking: Netflix and baby-making. Hey, you can always blame the lockdown.
