Remembering that appearances still matter even with physically distanced meetings, before you join that video call, be sure to look as good as you’d want to be addressed without going overboard.

Irrespective of your makeup choices as you stay at home, you want to make sure that your skin is always well-moisturized.

At a minimum, here are the makeup tips you need to totally serve face on your Zoom calls:

  • Follow up a moisturized face with mild foundation, if needed.
  • Brush or fill in eyebrows, if needed, as eyebrows define your face and help emphasize your eyes.
  • Go ahead and conceal the dark circles under your eyes, if any.
  • In as much as you might be tempted to do a full-blown glam look, resist the urge and instead pick between:
    • Popping lipstick or gloss
    • Subtle contouring
    • Mascaraed lashes
    • A bit of eye shadow.

A combination of two to three of these is about enough or you risk looking too unprofessional or too dramatic for a virtual call. Ready to join in on that Zoom video call?

Here are 13 SR-approved Zoom makeup looks…

#1. Soft glam

Soft glam can do no wrong in any setting. In order to very well slay your next Zoom call without looking like your trying too much, the key is to achieve a no-makeup makeup look. That is to say that your eyes, lips, brows and face should all play around a certain hue as this gives a more natural look. For example, many celebs and beauty influencers are going soft glam in shades of browns and nudes. This option is both stylish and professional.

#2. Let the lippie pop!

It’s important that in a business setting things should be balanced out tastefully, and this includes your makeup. Although it’s a Zoom meeting, it’s still a professional setting and the same attention that’s put into in-person office setting should be applied here. When your lips pop, keep your eyes subtle as both shouldn’t be garnering attention at the same time. Also, choose your lip color wisely as you don’t want to show up for the meeting in blue lipstick.

#3. Eye-ttention

The eyes are the windows to the soul and also an important aspect of a well done makeup look. By playing up your eyes and keeping every other feature at minimal, you create a look that’s undoubtedly tasteful. Whether it’s with mascara or a hint of metallic shadow, get creative with your eyes for  Rave-worthy glam.
