September is most certainly the month of fashion and it kicked off rightfully with the SS19 New York Fashion Week. While the shows might be over, the styles would linger in our minds till the end of London Fashion Week, which is now ongoing.
For NYFW this year, there were lots of shows, altercations, and rumours that made the events of the past week memorable. However, while emerging brands were shaking up old ways, already established brands were celebrating milestones just as celebrities were trying to outperform each other. On the other hand, fashion editors, enthusiast, influencers and lovers were wreaking sartorial havoc on the streets of New York.
Even the blend of humidity and heat (thanks to the rain showers and burst of sunlight) didn’t do anything to stop show goers from doing the needful. While the mixed weather condition would have been enough reason to keep people at bay, it did absolutely nothing to deter their spirits. Many were so pumped and ready to deliver, and deliver they did! We spotted so many stunning street style looks that we bet the runways were jealous! Fashion lovers were seen in everything from practical jumpsuits and trench coats to fancy dresses and boots, all of which were styled with such a burst of creativity.
