If you grew up watching The Lion King, then you are as excited as I am and looking forward to watching the remake of the 1994 Disney classic which features Beyoncé Knowles Carter as Nala. Before The Lion King hits the cinemas, the world premiere took place on Tuesday, 9th July at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
The 2019 Lion King premiere had the entire cast in attendance and they sure lit the red carpet with their ensembles. However, Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Carter stole the show as they stepped on the red carpet in matching outfits.
Beyoncé slayed in a bespoke crystal chandelier embroidered tuxedo Alexander McQueen dress with a dégradé crystal embroidered skirt. She accessorised her look with heavy crystal jewellery, crystal-embroidered pin heel sandals, carrying a bedazzled chandelier embroidered box clutch with a jewelled handle.
Beyoncé’s beauty look was equally as fierce as she was glammed up in a smokey brown eyed look paired with an intricately braided cornrow hairstyle.
In as much as fans were excited to see Beyoncé shut down the red carpet, they were giddier with excitement as Destiny Child reunited once again in coordinating looks. Michelle Wiliams looked radiant in an Atelier Zuhra broken glass effect dress while Kelly Rowland rocked a zebra print dress from the Prabal Gurung Resort 2020 collection.
