The Mercy Project | Top Actress Mercy Aigbe-Gentry Gives Back to Nigerian Youths | SR ASPIRE!

A Lagos-based energetic, fun, and witty writer with a crave…
Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe-Gentry who is known to be a big influencer in the entertainment and showbiz world has recently stepped out of her comfort zone to give back to the society.
Realizing the major downturn of things in the Nigerian economy, Mercy decided to do her own quota by investing in the youths. In her words:
“We still see youths wasting away, graduates roaming the streets without jobs, the less privileged being ignored, the homeless and orphans treated like non-human.”
She admits that these issues stirred up a passion in her to help build the Nigerian economy, and develop Nigeria to the Nigeria of her dreams.
Her give back project has been christened The Mercy Project, under her newly founded The Mercy Aigbe-Gentry Foundation. Through the foundation she hopes to help put smiles on people’s faces and help the less privileged.
The Mercy Project will be empowering youths through a free skills acquisition training program to help them bring their dreams to life. They will also be helped to kick-start their career through ways like financial assistance, provision of equipment and other strategic initiatives. The areas in which youths can enter in for this training include Fashion Design, Theatre Arts, Hair Styling and ICT.
Below are details on how to enter for The Mercy Project.
Well done Mercy!
