As is the usual for the month of love, artistes across Africa have been blessing our ears with emotionally-inclined music. We would love to believe this is something Teni the Entertainer considered when choosing the lead single, For you, off her debut album where she delivered a beautiful duet with Davido.
In the same light and of course sound, Afro-RnB artistes Chike and Simi showed us what it’s like to be sacrificial and in love on their new collaboration, Running (To you). To celebrate Valentine’s weekend, here are some new romantic and sultry songs for you to groove to with that special someone.

This track features on her debut album Wonderland set to be released in a few weeks.

Kicking off from where he left off last year, Chike drops a remix for one of Boo of the Booless fan-favourite. Teaming up with the vocal powerhouse, Simi, Chike gives fans a fresh and delightful serving on Running (to you). This is the second remix off the album after his success with the Mayorkun assisted If you no love.

Prince Kaybee continues with the hype of his soon to be released album The 4th Republic. This week, the Disc Jockey dishes out a single from the album titled Ebabayo, featuring collaboration from Nokwazi. This hot song rides the wave of the hottest sound across the continent, amapiano.

Dynamic Nigerian duo, Ajebo Hustlers collaborate with Africa’s rising music superstar, Omah Lay for their new Afro-fusion single titled, Pronto. This song serves as the duo’s first release of the year after closing 2020 Witt the Davido-assisted Barawo remix. Omah Lay delivers a sultry verse which is definitely one for the ladies.
#5. Blaqbonez ft Tiwa Savage – BBC remix
Blaqbonez is kicking off the year with a bang, connecting with the Queen of Afrobeats, Tiwa Savage for a remix to his viral single, BBC. On it Blaq and Tiwa trade verses about steamy romances; with Tiwa expertly matching the energy of the song. This song is a taste of what to expect from his forthcoming album, Sex>Love.
