For International Women’s Day celebration, one of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, Augustine Miles Kelechi popularly known as Tekno, released the visuals to his previously released single titled “Woman”.
In this video shot by Clarence Peters, Tekno is heard championing gender equality issues. The song which follows a highlife tune has Tekno celebrating women in different fields, whilst advocating their strength, importance and prominence across all spheres.
He believes that “a woman’s place is not in the kitchen to fry all the chicken, and that a woman can be a helper, a lover, a teacher and even the President.”
