She further heated up the timeline with a strip tease that flaunted several risqué movements and a jaw-dropping look at her assets. But the real kicker of the post may have been the fact that her scene partner was none other than an AI robot rocking a backward-fitted cap. The machine also tapped its foot as she enchanted it with her sultry gyrations.

2. Rolling Stone lists Blaqbonez among rappers shaping the future of Hip-Hop

Chocolate City’s forefront Hip-Hop artist Blaqbonez has been honored as a groundbreaking innovator, earning a coveted spot on Rolling Stone’s exclusive list of 50 Hip-Hop Innovators shaping the culture. Since breaking into the mainstream, Blaqbonez has become one of the stars shaping Nigerian Hip-Hop through his distinct flows, thrilling personality, and sheer drive. Starting as a sharp-talking rapper who doesn’t shy away from a face-off, he would go on to sign for Chocolate City and gradually work his way to mainstream success by relentlessly churning out impressive bodies of work and boldly marketing his craft.

His inclusion in Rolling Stone’s list is a testament to his exceptional talent, dedication, and notable contributions to Nigerian and African Hip-Hop. Blaqbonez has consistently pushed not only the boundaries of his artistry but also Nigerian Hip-Hop as he blends different genres to add much-needed excitement to the genre. 3. South Africa: Nasty C announces release date for new album

After weeks of teasing his eagerly anticipated upcoming album, Nasty C has announced the official release date as August 25. Having already released a few songs and music videos since the beginning of the year, the “Hell Naw” hitmaker is gearing up and making steady progress as he prepares for the release of his new album. The 26-year-old stated in a video on Tall Racks Fan Channel’s YouTube page that the album would likely feature a package of 18 tracks. The video also sees him conclude by saying that he is barely awaiting the completion of the mixing of his vocals and verses from featured artists. Simply put, the body of work is almost complete.

4. Clarence Avant, the ‘Godfather of Black Music’ and former Motown chairman, dies at 92

Clarence Avant, a trailblazer in the music business considered the “Godfather of Black Music,” reportedly died on Sunday, August 13, at his Los Angeles home. He was 92. In a statement, Avant’s family says his passing comes after a long and fruitful career and life. “It is with a heavy heart that the Avant/Sarandos family announce the passing of Clarence Alexander Avant. Through his revolutionary business leadership, Clarence became affectionately known as “The Black Godfather” in the worlds of music, entertainment, politics, and sports,” the statement reads.

“Clarence leaves behind a loving family and a sea of friends and associates that have changed the world and will continue to change the world for generations to come. The joy of his legacy eases the sorrow of our loss.” The cause of death has not yet been revealed publicly.

5. Chelsea confirm £115m signing of midfielder, Moises Caicedo from Brighton

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Moises Caicedo from Brighton in a deal worth a British record £115 million. The Blues announced that the midfielder has signed an eight-year contract with Chelsea having the option to extend for a further season. The club officially revealed the deal by posting a short video of the midfielder in a Chelsea shirt embracing his mother while sitting on the boot of a car, echoing a photo of the pair taken in their native Ecuador, with Caicedo sporting the 2020–21 home shirt.

The deal caps a remarkable rise for the 21-year-old, who arrived at Brighton in February 2021 for a fee of around £4.5 million. A bidding war between Chelsea and Liverpool resulted in a £115 million ($146 million) fee that breaks the British record and represents a huge return for the Seagulls, who reportedly still retain a portion of any future sale.
