Building a brand as a blogger isn’t easy and being plus size makes it a lot harder. The fashion world is tough and worse still has frown upon plus size women with the notion that their sizes are not commercial enough, but with the turn of the century, ladies like Gabrielle Gregg of Gabifresh.com took matters into their own hands and have given the world fresh new insights.
Proving that plus size women too are fashionable wasn’t enough for Gabi as she saw another problem in the swimwear department. When Gabi entered the game almost a decade ago, swimwear for plus size women was a scarce commodity and if you did find one, there wasn’t much to look forward to in terms of cut and design. She saw this problem and took it upon herself to once again change the narrative which was the genesis of the birth of her swimwear line and collaborations with Swimsuitsforall.com.
Gabi has so far used her platform as a blogger in the entertainment industry to service different tastes especially with her swimsuit collection which is one that is comfortable, stylish and befitting of any true fashion lover. This January, she launched her new collection and we have to applaud her for sticking to her guns as she continues to celebrate women who aren’t afraid to glow with confidence, women who are fashion-forward and trendy.
