Boldness might be relativecommensurate to the task at handbut when fashion is concerned, the outcome of a bold move is inarguable. When the details speak fluently in craftsmanship and the silhouettes surpass the mediocrity of normal, a unanimous nod confirms the truth of distinct style. At home and abroad, stylish Naija stars never fail to put their most fashionable foot forward. And, recently, this foot has contributed to good tidings, including global recognition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Recognizing the great strides these celebrities achieve would be incomplete without an accolade for their sartorial ingenuity. From rich auntie textures to cuts that play up each person’s frame, the girls served piping haute couture the way it was meant to be served. Whether it’s swoon-worthy red carpet delights or gallant birthday ensembles, there’s no limit to the ever-flowing style on the Lagos streets.

Check out the season’s fabulous fashion seen on stylish Naija stars…

Metallics can be likened to that fun friend in the pack who sprinkles her essence everywhere she goes. It’s hard to go unnoticed with a striking dress, even more so when it shimmers. Recently, Stephanie Coker was the perfect wedding guest in a Tamz Couture flare dress styled with a fascinator. The prim and proper offering was punched up with leaf-detailed sandal heels, a gold handbag, and floral earrings.

#3. Maria Chike Benjamin

Regal. If we were to cast Maria Chike Benjamin in any movie, it would be Bridgertonthanks to this dress. Full of personality and confidence, she donned a Pearl Bridals floral ball dress for her birthday shoot. Although appearing conservative at first sight, the green mono-sleeve dress hid a scandalous side slit that became visible with a slight leg movement, leaving a lot to the imagination. A number like this requires the hair to be set in a ponytail or bun to give the dress its rightful shine.

#4. Anita Singh

Nigerian-Indian ex-BB Naija housemate, Nini Singh dazzled in a low-back bejeweled dress by Pearls Bridal for her birthday celebration. The figure-accentuating number played its part uncontested as her dainty jewelry added to its narrative. If you’re a bride in search of a wedding reception dress, this number indeed does its number.

#5. Temi Otedola

Temi Otedola often plays on simplicity’s field, mostly with easy face beats and an unproblematic get-up. At the Cannes Film Festival, she continued this vibe in a sultry Michael Kors black dress that highlighted her golden brown skin. Otedola might not be a movie, but her effortless style is one to be seen. Remember, a black dress always does justice to any event, and a slinky option brings sexy without trying.

#7. Veekee James

The red-and-white combo is a sure hit. Veekee James leaned on the combo’s ability to spruce up most coordination, and it didn’t fail her. She wore a red peplum blouse, that emphasized her frame, over white flare pants, resulting in an easy-on-the-eye offering. When you wear a peplum on flare bottoms, the trick is to ensure the bodice is a perfect fit and the peplum isn’t overly conspicuous.
