1. Steve Harvey and wife Marjorie speak out amid cheating rumors

Steve and Marjorie Harvey are protecting their peace while seemingly addressing rumors of cheating in their relationship. On Sunday, while at Invest Fest 2023 in Atlanta, the comedian and host spoke out regarding whispers that began last week on X (formally known as Twitter) that Marjorie cheated on him with a bodyguard and a chef. As he took center stage during the event, Steve was captured saying, “Before I get started, just let me say, I’m fine. Marriage is fine. I don’t know what y’all are doin’, but find something else to do cause we fine, Lord have mercy,” he said after applause from the audience simmered down.

His wife, Majorie, also voiced her opinion of the rumors on Instagram. In her post, she featured an article titled, How to Handle Being Lied About, along with the Bible verse I Peter 2:23, which reads, “When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.”

A few months on from Zakes Bantwini’s announcement of his upcoming Abantu concert at Cape Town’s DHL Stadium, he has announced a blockbuster artiste line-up for his eagerly anticipated show. The Grammy Award winner shared the full line-up for the October 28 concert on his social media platforms. 4. Noah Lyles and Sha’Carri Richardson lead Team USA to big victories at 2023 World Athletics Championships

After several years of dominance by Jamaica, the 2023 track and field world championships in Budapest, Hungary was a showcase for the reassurance of American sprinting led by Noah Lyles and Sha’Carri Richardson. In the World Athletics Championships women’s 100 meters on Tuesday, August 22, Richardson won her first world title in stunning fashion. Her time of 10.65 seconds beat out Jamaicans Shericka Jackson and five-time world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, who were considered favorites in the event.

Lyles continued his incredible exploits at the event by winning both the 100m with a time of 9.83 to win his first-ever world title in the men’s 100-meters and the 200m in 19.52 seconds. He became the first American to win the 100-200 sprint double since Tyson Gay accomplished the feat in 2007. In the Men’s 4x100m relay on Saturday (August 26), Lyles anchored Team USA with a time of 37.38 seconds along with Christian Coleman, Fred Kerley, and Brandon Carnes.

5. Chelsea agree £5m loan deal with Roma as striker agrees to take pay cut

Romelu Lukaku will reunite with Jose Mourinho at Roma after Chelsea accepted a £5 million ($6m) loan offer from the Italian side. Roma have agreed to pay £5m to loan Lukaku for the season, according to reports. The Belgian striker has accepted a wage cut so that Chelsea will not have to cover any part of the £6m ($8m) salary he will earn in Rome. It was beginning to look like Lukaku would remain at Chelsea this season after he rejected moves to Inter, Juventus, and Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal. Chelsea were desperate to sell the 30-year-old, but now at least they won’t have him on the wage bill for the rest of the season.

Lukaku will return to Italy and play under Mourinho, who coached him at Manchester United. The striker, who Chelsea signed from Inter for £97.5m ($135m) in 2021, has had to agree to a further wage cut in the event that he returns to Chelsea after this season. He still has three years remaining on his contract.
