1. NBA player Sterling Shepard shows off new girlfriend
Sterling Shepard appears to be off the market. The wide receiver for the New York Giants recently attended Odell Beckham Jr.’s 30th birthday party with a special lady, assumed to be his girlfriend, by his side, and fans are convinced he’s starting a new chapter in his love life. “Perfect timing,” Shepard captioned an Instagram photo cozying up to model Shaniece Hairston. The NFL star followed up the caption with a black heart emoji.
Hairston, who is the daughter of Basketball Wives alum Evelyn Lozada, also posted the sultry date night photo on her Instagram. “My babe 🤍,” the certified Yogi captioned the post on Monday, November 7. In our opinion, it seems like the couple has just made their relationship IG Official.

Nigerian influencer known on social media as Hushpuppi will spend a decade in a prison cell. On Monday, November 7, a federal judge in Los Angeles sentenced Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, 40, to more than 11 years in federal prison, the U.S. Department of Justice announced. Abbas was “a prolific international fraudster” who funded his lifestyle by laundering millions of dollars through online scams, the DOJ said. In addition to a prison sentence, U.S. District Judge Otis D. Wright II ordered Abbas to pay more than $1.7 million in restitution to two victims.
At his April 2021 trial, Hushpuppi pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to engage in money laundering. Abbas has been in custody since his arrest in June 2020 in the United Arab Emirates. “Abbas bragged on social media about his lavish lifestyle – a lifestyle funded by his involvement in transnational fraud and money laundering conspiracies targeting victims around the world,” U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada said.

SuperSport analyst and soccer legend Matthew Booth has responded to claims by his wife Sonia Booth, a former Miss SA runner-up, that he’s been having an affair. This comes after Sonia took to her social media timeline on Monday to allege infidelity in a series of Instagram posts that have now gone viral within and outside of South Africa, sharing “receipts” from Valentine’s Day 2022, when the alleged affair began.
Sonia said she hired a private investigator to corroborate her suspicions. The investigation revealed that Matthew had allegedly been dipping into their son’s education fund to impress the other woman and his peers. In a statement shared on social media, Matthew said the allegations were unfounded and he was leaving his legal team to deal with the matter.

Tech company Twitter has fired nearly all its staff in Ghana, more than a week after billionaire Elon Musk took over the company. A source told the media that only one person was left in the almost 20-member team. “The company is reorganizing its operations as a result of a need to reduce costs,” read the email to staff from Fidelma Callaghan, Director of People Services.
Musk promised to make big changes at Twitter, including laying off workers worldwide. The employment termination emails were sent to the Ghana employees’ personal accounts, having been denied access to their work ones. The termination of employment notice warned staff not to “contact or deal with any customers, clients, authorities, banks, suppliers or other employees of the company and are required to inform the company if contacted.”
5. Mane a major doubt for Senegal’s World Cup

Sadio Mane’s chances of making the World Cup with Senegal appear to be diminishing after he suffered a knee injury against Werder Bremen. The Bayern Munich forward was forced off injured after just 20 minutes as Die Roten thrashed Werder Bremen 6-1 on Tuesday evening, with head coach Julian Nagelsmann confirming it as a tibia issue. Mane underwent tests this morning, which have set an initial recovery period of 3-4 weeks. The Senegal international will undergo further testing to better understand the recovery time and see if there is a chance he can make the World Cup. While it is not yet certain that he’ll miss the tournament, it is very likely.
Bayern has released an official statement confirming that Mane will be unavailable for the Bundesliga clash with Schalke this weekend. “Sadio Mane suffered an injury to his right fibula during FC Bayern’s 6:1 win against Werder Bremen. ‘Africa’s Footballer of the Year’ is out for the match against FC Schalke this Saturday,” the statement reads. “Further examinations will follow in the next few days, FC Bayern will exchange information with the medical side of the Senegalese Football Association.” Sterling Shepard Girlfriend
