Afropop singer, Tiwa Savage has lost her father. According to the music icon, the peaceful transition occurred during the early hours of today, July 19, 2021. The mother of one personally shared the news on her Instagram page. Tiwa Savage loses dad.
According to Tiwa, her father fought for a couple of years but has finally gone to rest. She went on to share that the death of her father has left her sad, numb, weak, and broken.
“Early hours of this morning you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy, it’s been rough for you these past couple years but you are resting now,” she wrote. “This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak. Rest In Perfect Peace my King. I love you daddy. Savy t’eko, pappin K ?❤️.” Tiwa Savage father.

This is a tough time for the “Celia” crooner as she lost her close friend Obama DMW less than a month ago. She posted a tribute to him on June 30 and later, a follow-up post where she shared the video of her 2013 hit song “Olorun mi” — a song about grieving lost loved ones.
