[dropcap]S[/dropcap]outh African actress and television personality Terry Pheto has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Winnie Mandela in the BET Series ‘Madiba’ at the upcoming Black Reel Awards in the USA. The mini-series, which aired in the US earlier this year as part of Black History Month, was a three-part, six-hour show.
Terry is nominated in the category alongside media mogul and actress Oprah Winfrey for her role in the movie ‘The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks’. Loretta Devine, Nia Long and Sanaa Lathan are also nominated in the same category.
