1. Rihanna and ASAP Rocky reveal second child’s name

It appears that the name of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s second child has been revealed. In what reportedly is the birth certificate, the name of their newborn is Riot Rose Mayers. The document also cites the baby was born on August 1, at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles at 7:41 a.m. And if you’re thinking what we’re thinking, the little guy’s name appears to have a musical connection to his dad and a running theme with the letter R.

Last month, A$AP Rocky released his latest single, “Riot,” though it has not been confirmed if there is any correlation between the baby’s name and the song. Additionally, the name of their first child also begins with the letter R. Little RZA Athelston Mayers’ moniker was given as a tribute to the founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan.

Coco Gauff saw her dreams come true as the American teenager beat Aryna Sabalenka 2-6 6-3 6-2 to claim her first Grand Slam title at the US Open. The 19-year-old became the first American teenager to triumph at Flushing Meadows since Serena Williams in 1999. Sabalenka will be the new world No. 1 on Monday after a consistent year in which she won the Australian Open and reached the semi-finals at the French Open and at Wimbledon.

But that will be scant consolation for the 25-year-old from Belarus after she put herself in a position to win her second Grand Slam title only to fold as Gauff claimed her first, thrilling a raucous crowd with a memorable victory at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
