Rihanna has stepped down from her role at Savage X Fenty and appointed a new CEO. Per reports, Monday, June 26, Hillary Super, the former CEO of Anthropologie Group, will be the new Chief Executive Officer of the brand. Rihanna held the title since founding the popular lingerie line in 2018. The “Work” hitmaker will still be hands-on with Savage X Fenty as the company’s executive chair.

“It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years. This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer,” Savage X Fenty said in a statement. Rihanna added, “I’m so grateful and excited to welcome Hillary Super as our new CEO – she is a strong leader and is focused on taking the business to an even higher level.”

2. Banky W responds to allegations of cheating on his wife, Adesua

Popular Nigerian singer-cum-clergyman, Bankole Wellington, aka Banky W, has seemingly responded to the cheating allegations against him. Last weekend, rumors went around that the singer is cheating on his wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington with his former signee, Niyola. But addressing his congregation at the Waterbrooks church in Lagos on Sunday, the rapper-turned-preacher said the rumors were orchestrated by satanic elements who didn’t want his members to listen to his Sunday sermon.

He declared that the devil is a liar while assuring his congregation that God was in control. He said, “The devil really didn’t want you to hear this message. In fact, he didn’t want us to enter into this series at all. There was an attack at the beginning, but here we are. But the devil is a liar. And God is in control.”

Drake fans will soon have another album to press play on, and it’s all thanks to him checking off another box on his evolving list of accomplishments. On Friday, June 23, Drake announced the upcoming release of his first literary work: a poetry book. “Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream of Consciousness” is co-written by Drake and Kenza Samir.

As buzz about the collection of lyrics and poems began, so did reports about new music. According to reports, a QR code found in newspaper ads led people to a website named after the book. The site’s landing page has a message that reads: “I made an album to go with the book. They say they miss the old Drake. Girl, don’t tempt me. For all the dogs.” He didn’t offer any information about a release date or track list, but the book is already up for purchase.

5. Al-Hilal confirm Kalidou Koulibaly signing in €25m deal from Chelsea with defender set to earn €30m per year

Al-Hilal have confirmed the signing of Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea in a €25 million (£21.5m/$27.3m) deal. Koulibaly had long been expected to depart Stamford Bridge and his exit was finally confirmed on Sunday evening. He only joined the Blues last summer and made just 23 appearances during the 2022-23 season.

Koulibaly will not be the last Chelsea player to end up in Saudi Arabia this summer. N’Golo Kante is already on his way to champions Al-Ittihad, while Hakim Ziyech will team up with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr, and Edouard Mendy is set to join Al-Ahly. Koulibaly will link up with ex-Wolves star Ruben Neves at Al-Hilal and look to challenge the likes of Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr to the Saudi Pro League title next season.
