When Brigitte Bardot said “every age can be enchanting, provided you live within it”, she sure was referring to Richard Mofe Damijo. I can shamelessly say that I, like many other Nigerian women, am a little obsessed with the veteran actor. Or maybe I should speak for myself.
Crush aside, you will no doubt agree with me that RMD, as he is fondly called, is one of the most stylish Nigerian male celebrities of all time. And while he’s always been on the top of the style game, he seems to have upped his game a notch in recent times. But you can’t blame him, it’s the social media age which means we get to see more of what people do, eat and wear than ever before.
RMD’s style perfectly balances what is considered age appropriate and what is trendy. The hunk who plays many roles in and outside of his home as a father, grandfather, actor and lawyer knows what works for him style-wise. From Agbada to suits to casual attires, it is hard to think of a man more perfectly framed for every clothing than RMD. He easily beats most of the younger male celebs when it comes to style, charm and physique combined. I mean, is there anything yummier than a 55-year-old man who knows how to pull off almost any look?
