Rexxie Ushers Us Into The Second Half Of The Year With Booty Bounce + More Trending Songs Across Africa

2021 seems to by going by fast. Musically, this means listeners have the pleasure of vibbing to new releases on a regular basis. Starting off the second half of the year, KPK crooner Rexxie joins forces with Bad Boy Timz and Ms Banks to give us a bop titled Booty bounce.

Across Africa, several other artistes are following suit and giving us ‘eargasm‘ with their Rave-worthy jams to kick us off into the second half of 2021, and these songs deserve spots on our playlists. We’ve curated this list of the trendiest releases this week for your listening pleasure.

After a successful blow-up of his song, KPK featuring Moh Bad, Nigerian award-winning producer, Rexxie has released a new song titled Booty Bounce which features rising star Bad Boy Timz and British-Nigerian rapper Ms Banks. Booty bounce is a single on his newly released 17-track album A True Champion, which features top-tier performers.

#2. Cassper Nyovest ft. Khotso – Khotso

Family Tree rapper and one of South Africa’s renowned artistes, Cassper Nyovest serves up a brand new single titled Khotso off his latest album called Sweet and Short 2.0. The song was produced by Abidoza, and Alie-Keys and is further proof that the artist is versatile and has mastered yet another sound.

#3.Dangbana Republik, Bella Shmurda – Party next door

Bella Shmurda returns with a new anthem for his Republikans. After So Cold featuring Popcaan, he drops another Afrobeat banger titled Party Next Door. In this new single, the Vision 2020 rapper talks about flexing and how he intends to enjoy life to the fullest. The energy in this song makes it a potential hit.

#4. Stonbwoy – Outside

Stonebwoy, Africa’s very own Reggae/Dancehall Artist, drops a new song titled Outside. This song produced by StreetBeatz serves as an amplifier for the voices of the youths in Ghana. Currently, the Ghanaian youths are demanding that the government #FixTheCountry as some individuals have been killed by security personnel. This inspired the release of this protest anthem.

#5. DJ Aroma ft. Mr Eazi and Nhlanhla Nciza – Breakup Riddim

This week, three major countries on the African continent merged in a new amapiano-infused love song, Breakup Riddim. The song, by Ghanaian DJ Aroma featuring the vocals of Nigerian hitmaker Mr Eazi and South Africa’s popular female vocalist Nhlanhla Nciza is one to play back-to-back. Breakup Riddim revolves around a guy who affectionately pleads for the love and attention of his lover.
