After announcing they wanted to step back from their senior roles in the Royal family, Meghan and Prince Harry spent some time in Vancouver, Canada. The royals moved into their new home with their son Archie in July, according to reports. Their palatial new multimillion-dollar estate reportedly has nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, as well as a pool, theatre, and gym. The property, which they purchased for $US14.5 million in June, was previously valued at $20.6million and even much higher, as seen in earlier listings. Meghan and Harry’s first property together happens to be located in a reserved celebrity hotspot in Montecito, California.

The Santa Barbara compound also has a two-bedroom guesthouse, which would be perfect for when Meghan’s mum, Doria, or the Royals come to visit. Outside, there is a tennis court, large manicured lawns, rose gardens, a tea house, and a pond. According to previous listings, the main house also includes a library, office, spa with a separate dry and wet sauna, gym, game room, arcade, theatre, wine cellar, and a five-car garage.
“They intend to put down their roots in this house and the quiet community, which has considerable privacy. This is where they want to bring Archie up, where they hope he can have as normal a life as possible,” said a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan.
