A passionate writer, self proclaimed chef and lover of music…
The latest British Vogue issue has been released and Oprah Winfrey stars as the cover girl for August edition. Inside, the media mogul talks about her Royal wedding appearance, her lifestyle, activism, rumoured move into politics, love, losses and life in general.
In this rare one-on-one interview with writer Decca Aitkenhead, Oprah Winfrey went on to talk about her self-help advocacy with the #Metoo and Times’s Up Movements. She also delves into squaring up her spirituality with these advocacy groups and according to her,
“People talk about ‘these are such dark times’, but what if we shift the paradigm? Because I see it differently,” she asserts. “I see, ‘Isn’t this remarkable that we’re waking up?’ For years, women have endured craziness. This is what’s happening to people. They’re allowing themselves to not just become corroded, but to become hysterical. You’ve got to lean to the happiness.”
The issue which hits the stands Friday, July 6, comes with two covers; the first cover has Oprah wearing a Taffeta gown by Stella McCartney along with a white and yellow diamond and emerald earrings by Buccellati Milan while the second cover offers a black and white image where the philanthropist poses in a face mask.
