1. North West is working on her debut album

North West has revealed that she’s working on her debut album, “Elementary School Dropout.” The 10-year-old revealed this during her father’s, Kanye West’s, Vultures album listening party in Phoenix on Sunday night (March 10). The album title is likely in an homage to her father’s acclaimed 2004 LP, “College Dropout.”

Before making the announcement, North West had taken the stage with her dad, Ye, in Vultures merchandise and a fur hat for her “Talking” track on the album. “And I’ve been working on an album,” she said, which drew a loud ovation from the crowd. “And it’s called Elementary School Dropout.”

North’s foray into music is unsurprising as Ye is one of the most iconic rappers of all time. She is featured on Vultures‘ “Talking,” which debuted at No. 30 on the Hot 100 with 12.33 million official U.S. streams in its first week of tracking.

2. Future and Metro Boomin announce two joint albums

Future and Metro Boomin have announced the release of two new joint albums. A trailer has been released on YouTube alongside the announcement. In the trailer, the rapper and producer can be seen driving across the desert in separate white cars before hopping out and standing side by side. After this, two dates pop on the screen: March 22 and April 12.

“We Don’t Trust You” will drop on the first date, while the second unnamed album will drop in April. The duo worked together for a decade, but the collab record was announced last year.

3. Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr leave Oscars after-party together amid dating rumors

Amid talk of romance, Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr decided to add more fuel to the fire by leaving Vanity Fair’s 2024 Oscars after-party together. For the said occasion, Kardashian opted for a figure-accentuating silver Balenciaga number with a structured neckline that ended in a dramatic point at her collarbone. She kept the rest of her look subtle with a diamond pinky ring and earrings. On the other hand, the Baltimore Ravens wide receiver kept his look understated in a leather suit, the jacket of which showed off a bold gold chain.

This outing is the latest in a string of public sightings of the pair. Kardashian, 43, and Beckham, 31, were last seen together in the lobby of Las Vegas’ Wynn Hotel in February ahead of the Super Bowl. But before then, Kim was one of the guests at the sportsman’s 31st birthday bash on November 6, in New York City.

4. Warner Bros would ‘love’ to make “Barbie” sequel

Warner Bros boss Pam Abdy has said the film studio would “love” to make Barbie 2 after director Greta Gerwig’s movie “ignited audiences around the world.” The film took $1.4bn at the box office globally, making it the most successful movie of 2023.

Abdy, the co-chair and CEO of Warner Bros Motion Picture Group, said the film had “smashed so many records,” adding that both parties were “always talking” about a follow-up, but that it would ultimately be Gerwig’s decision. Luckily, earlier this week, Gerwig said she is open to the idea if she can find an “undertow” for the film.

Although Barbie lead, Margot Robbie and director, Greta Gerwig were both omitted from this year’s Oscars, the blockbuster bagged eight Academy Awards nominations, including for Best Picture. Ryan Gosling, who played Ken, was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor, which he lost to Robert Downey Jr. for his performance in “Oppenheimer.”

5. Ederson facing four weeks out with leg injury sustained on Sunday

Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson Santana de Moraes is facing up to four weeks out with the leg injury he sustained against Liverpool on Sunday. The Brazilian was forced off in the second half of the 1-1 draw shortly after colliding with Darwin Nunez which had resulted in Liverpool’s equalising penalty.

Ederson is now due to miss three to four weeks, making him a major doubt for the Premier League game against Arsenal on March 31. The Brazil international will be out for Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final, although his deputy Stefan Ortega was expected to start having played in the rest of City’s matches in the competition this season.

City are third in the league after the draw at Anfield, a point behind Liverpool and the table-topping Gunners.
