The 6th annual Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCAs) took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos. This year’s event was hosted by IK Osakioduwa and Minenhle ‘Minnie’ Dlamini Jones with performances by Falz TheBahdGuy, Bisola Aiyeola, Adekunle Gold, Cobhams Asuquo, a classical performance by Omo Bello and The Seki Traditional Dance Troupe.
As with every year, the AMVCA Trailblazer Award, a special award presented by MultiChoice to an actor for outstanding achievement during the previous year was presented to BBNaija 2017 Housemate Bisola Aiyeola and Tunde Kelani. Tatu was the biggest winner of the night with East African movie, 18 hours, winning the Best Overall Movie.
