1. Old flames Nelly and Ashanti spark dating rumors
2000s hip-hop royalty Nelly and Ashanti were seen holding hands at a boxing match in Las Vegas on Saturday night, further fueling rumors that the pair are back together; 20 years after they first ignited their romance. The two stars sat ringside together to watch Gervonta “Tank” Davis beat Ryan Garcia at the T-Mobile Arena. As they exited the venue, they were seen linking hands. On Sunday, the duo then performed together in front of a packed crowd at the TAO Beach Dayclub. The footage was shared of the pair performing a rendition of their 2008 hit “Body On Me,” during which Ashanti could be seen grinding on the St. Louis rapper.
Nelly, 48, and Ashanti, 42, dated on and off for over a decade after first getting together in 2003. Rumors that the pair were back together first began after they performed together in Las Vegas in December. In February, Ashanti was then pictured wearing what appeared to be Nelly’s distinctive Cuban link chain. Their activities in Vegas over the weekend have only further intensified the rumors that they are once again dating.

Big Zulu is feeling confident to take on Cassper Nyovest in the ring after winning his first boxing match. On April 23, the “Mali Eningi” hitmaker got into his first bout hosted by Seconds Out Boxing and Entertainment at AJ’S in The Park, Craighall, Johannesburg against Brian Dings, who is no stranger to the boxing industry. While the two were meant to fight three rounds, Big Zulu ended up winning by technical knockout in the first round after months of training with SA’s first female boxing manager and internationally recognized trainer at Roy Jones Jr and Jodi Solomon Boxing.
Cassper Nyovest, who was also at the event, said after witnessing Big Zulu fight that he was assured the rapper was not a threat to him, despite his weight, but he was busy negotiating other contracts instead. Big Zulu responded by saying that he merely wanted Cassper to set a date for the fight as he was initially preparing to fight him. Seconds Out Boxing and Entertainment is set to donate all proceedings from Big Zulu’s fight to the battle against gender-based violence.

Good news has arrived for fans and friends of Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx. The veteran Hollywood star is said to be awake and alert following his recent hospitalization for what has only been described as a mysterious “medical complication.” The latest update comes from TV host Nick Cannon who shared the uplifting news with Kevin Frazier over the weekend, telling the longtime journalist that he had been praying and posting words of affirmation for the 55-year-old who he referred to as his “big brother.”
“I know he’s doing so much better because I’m actually about to do something special for him and doing him a favor,” Cannon continued. While the “Wild N’ Out” boss wouldn’t reveal just exactly what the favor was, he did say that it would be “out there soon.” He added, “I was reluctant to go all the way there and even talk about it, but he gave me the blessing, so it’s a beautiful thing. He’s awake. They say he’s alert, so we love it,” before cementing his relationship with Foxx, noting, “That’s family right there.”

Tottenham have confirmed that Cristian Stellini and his coaching staff have departed the club in the wake of the team’s devastating 6-1 hammering by Newcastle in the Premier League on Sunday. Stellini took over on an interim basis on March 26 after Antonio Conte was sacked but has now followed his compatriot out of the door. “Sunday’s performance against Newcastle was wholly unacceptable. It was devastating to see. We can look at many reasons why it happened and whilst myself, the Board, the coaches, and players must all take collective responsibility, ultimately the responsibility is mine,” a statement from Spurs chairman Daniel Levy read.
“Cristian will leave his current role along with his coaching staff. Cristian stepped in at a difficult point in our season and I want to thank him for the professional manner in which he and his coaching staff have conducted themselves during such a challenging time. We wish him and his staff well.” Levy also confirmed that Ryan Mason, who has filled in as interim boss previously, will take charge of the team once again for the time being.
