Tennis great Naomi Osaka has added another title to her resume with her new collaboration with the lingerie brand, Victoria’s Secret. The Victoria’s Secret x Naomi Osaka collection, which features sleepwear and intimates, launched on February 21. Osaka, who holds two US Open titles and two Australian Open titles, became a founding partner of the VS Collective in October 2022.

Osaka, who recently announced that she is pregnant, stated in a press release, “VS x Naomi Osaka beautifully represents the tranquility and happiness that comes when you take a moment to embrace you – I believe everyone should prioritize self-care. I am proud to have collaborated with Victoria’s Secret in designing a collection that brings this message to life through dreamlike styles. We had a fully immersive design process together where we thoughtfully chose light, soft fabrics in a calm color palette reflective of sunsets and sunrises. On Thursday, the NAACP announced that 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams will receive the prestigious Jackie Robinson Sports Award during the 54th NAACP Image Awards on Saturday, February 25. The Jackie Robinson Sports Award is presented to individuals in sports for their high achievements in athletics, as well as their contributions to the pursuit of social justice, civil rights, and community involvement.

“Serena Williams is the quintessential example of Black excellence,” said NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson. “From her record-breaking wins on the tennis court to her business acumen to her philanthropic endeavors, she has set the bar for athletes everywhere. We are proud to honor and celebrate her with this year’s Jackie Robinson Sports Award.”

5. Arsenal ready to reward Bukayo Saka with contract worth over £10m per year

Bukayo Saka is set to sign a new contract at Arsenal that will see his salary go up to £10 million ($12m), according to a report. Saka, 21, has told the Gunners that he wants to commit his long-term future to the club as the attacker nears an agreement over a contract extension. It is expected to be a five-year deal and the contract has been verbally accepted with final details being worked out.

Saka is Arsenal’s top scorer in the Premier League this season with nine goals while he also tops the team’s assist chart in the league with eight. His current contract is set to expire in 2024, so the north London side are desperate to ensure they do not lose their prized academy graduate any time soon. Arsenal and Saka have come to an agreement over the main elements of his new contract, with only the finer details to be worked out between the club and his agent. The extension will see him earn £200,000 per week, according to The Mail, and make him the best-paid player in the team.
