Africa continues to rise as ARISE Fashion Week 2019 returns to host 38 designers on its Lagos runway this weekend. ARISE Fashion Week has helped to showcase and promote African designers on the runways of the world — from London’s famous Royal Albert Hall to Washington DC’s Kennedy Center, to the legendary triple appearance during New York’s iconic Fashion Week, to Lagos, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Paris.
For the first time, ARISE Fashion Week 2019 will be having pop up stores that will show off designer wears from the previous day. This will enable lovers of fashion shop for looks they loved best from the runway.
To start off the week, Fashion Talks will begin on Friday, April 19th at 11 am, while the fashion shows will kick off at 4 pm.
To host this year’s fashion week, supermodel, Naomi Campbell will be on deck and who knows, she just might grace the runway again as she did for Lanre DaSilva Ajayi last year. We are definitely looking forward to seeing her strut and take over the runway in true Naomi Campbell style.
