Supermodel, businesswoman, activist and popular culture icon, Naomi Campbell, officially became a vlogger with the launch of her YouTube channel in November 2018. The channel is set on giving her fans unprecedented insight into what it really means to be Naomi Campbell. According to her, “I want to show the world who I am and what I stand for.”
In the most recent episode of #BeingNaomi, she reflects on 2018 which was the year of finding out that her purpose at this point in her life is Africa; particularly, changing the narrative of how people feel about Africa.
You may remember that in 2018 she was in Africa quite a few times and remained by Wizkid’s side as he made his entry into the fashion world in Italy.
For this vlog, in which she also shares her resolution for 2019, Naomi had Dabebi by Mr Eazi playing in the background – talk about being perfectly “in tune” with her purpose.
We absolutely love what she’s doing and can’t wait to see how her influence continues to help get African creatives the global recognition they deserve.
