The highly anticipated Arise Fashion Week 2018 kicked off on Friday with a meet and greet session. The fashion week had its runway which has been adjudged the most beautiful runway in Africa graced with beautiful designs on the first day, one of which was Lanre Da Silva Ajayi’s AW18 Collection titled “Grandeur Masterpiece”.
LDA’s show started off with the lights dimmed and the words ‘Lanre Da Silva Ajayi’ coming up on the screen. The excitement of all fashion lovers seated grew as they waited to see her offerings and were pleasantly surprised as Naomi Campbell opened up the show for the brand which has since become known for their elegant and graceful designs.
The collection which was a delectable mix saw LDA experimenting with gold hues, spawning sheer elegance with her fabrics on the runway. Also strutting for the brand was Nigerian supermodel Oluchi Onweagba-Orlandi and top model Ojy Okpe.
This collection is for the woman who’s recognized the goddess in her and is ready to rule her world; one who’s living her life like it is indeed golden.
