The Virginia-born rapper and producer has officially been honored with a lifelike wax figure at Madame Tussaud’s legendary museum.

2. Nigeria: Stephanie Coker releases trailer for ‘Where The Heck is My Period?’ documentary

Nigerian-British TV host and actress Stephanie Coker Aderinokun is on a mission to raise awareness by amplifying the voices of brave women living with PCOS. The media personality, who is a PCOS survivor, recently debuted the official trailer for “Where The Heck is My Period?,” a documentary chronicling the daily lives of Nigerian women living with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Produced by Coker, the documentary also features interviews with gynecologists, religious leaders, public figures, and native African doctors.

Some of the riveting stories shared in the Michael ‘AMA Psalmist’ Akinrogunde-directed feature-length documentary include how a mom living with PCOS lost her child, who only lived for 30 minutes, and a painful divorce stemming from one woman’s infertility struggles due to PCOS.

Speaking on the importance of the documentary, Coker shared, “As someone living with PCOS since age 16 and being put on medication such as the contraceptive pill, I wanted to shed more light and educate people about this incurable disorder and hopefully help young girls going through the same issues.” Where The Heck is My Period? will premiere during Africa International Film Festival 2022 (AFRIFF), which runs from 6-11 November.

South African rapper Nasty C has been billed to perform at the MTV EMA happening this weekend. Taking to his Instagram timeline, the rapper shared a poster confirming him as one of the performers on November 13. “God is the greatest! Thank You! @mtvema can’t wait!,” wrote Nasty C.

Spinall, Äyanna, Stormzy, Gayle, OneRepublic, and Kalush Orchestra have been added to the line-up as well. They will join Ava Max, Bebe Rexha, David Guetta, Gorillaz, Lewis Capaldi, and Muse. Additional presenters are to be announced at a later stage.

4. Serena Williams’ husband responds to Drake calling him a ‘Groupie’

There’s no doubt that Alexis Ohanian loves his wife, Serena Williams, and is one of her biggest supporters. So it’s no surprise he’ll defend their bond when it’s under attack. The Reddit co-founder seemingly responded to Drake calling him a “groupie” on his new song “Middle of the Ocean.” “Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie / He claim we don’t got a problem but / No, boo, it is like you comin’ for sushi,” the Toronto native raps on the song from his new album “Her Loss” with 21 Savage.

While Ohanian didn’t specifically call out Drizzy in his tweet, it’s pretty clear he was referring to the bar. “The reason I stay winning is because I’m relentless about being the absolute best at whatever I do — including being the best groupie for my wife & daughter,” the entrepreneur tweeted alongside a photo of him and Williams’ daughter Alexis Olympia in the stands during one of Williams’ tennis matches. The tennis legend replied to her husband’s comment with a smiling face and heart emojis.

5. Ronaldo named Man Utd captain for Aston Villa clash

Ronaldo has been named United’s captain for their clash against Aston Villa in the absence of Bruno Fernandes. The move comes just weeks after the Portuguese striker left the stadium early against Tottenham and consequently, was forced to train away from the main squad for a few days. Ronaldo’s walkout against Spurs caused a lot of issues for Erik Ten Hag in the following days. The striker missed a crunch match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and it ramped up the feeling that the striker could force a move in the January transfer window.

Ten Hag insisted that the decision to make Ronaldo captain was correct. He told the media: “Nothing changed, when you are captain and leader you have to set an example and that is what I expect from him. He is an important part of the squad, we are happy with him and now he has to taken even more of the leader role.” Missy Elliott Wax Figure
