Last Week, The Best Dressed Men Turned Up The Volume On Street Style

men-street-style

Last week, the best dressed men opted for bold silhouettes and rich textures, experimenting with pieces that ranged from higher-than-basic to full-on luxurious numbers. As the week progressed with its slew of events—from movie premieres to Paris Men’s Fashion Week—we were simply enthralled by the hip men who seemed to turn up the volume of street style.

The Looks

One of the glitziest of the men last week was Jay Ellis who has been engaged with press rounds and international premieres for his latest movie, “Top Gun: Maverick” co-starring Tom Cruise. Ellis made his rounds in Seoul, South Korea wearing a brown Grayscale crocodile cropped blazer. In the dark shade of brown and its texture, it felt more timeless and polished than rocking a straight-up basic leather jacket. Furthermore, he scored another style point with the pair of brown split pants, also by Grayscale, which he wore below a white t-shirt. Finally, the look was finished off nicely thanks to a pair of polished Santoni boots. Ellis himself would approve of the stage-ready look.

There were also some not-so-stealthy luxurious looks that won during the week. Take Nigerian Grammy-award-winning singer Burna Boy in his yellow Etro button-down shirt and colorful Botter Paris pants which were designed to perfection. The perfect mix of classic and modern was punctuated by his signature Cuban-link diamond-encrusted layers of necklaces. The African Giant was the center of attention at his show in Barcelona as he completed the ensemble with a pair of white Maison Margiela boots.

As celebrities stepped out last week, they did so by taking fashionable risks and scoring style points heavily on the fashion scene across the globe. And we can certainly attest that they made some interesting waves in the process.  Men Street Style
