Last Week’s Best Dressed Men Proved That Simple Is Far From Basic

For far too long, simple was the enemy in the fashion world. People practically ran from the label (and some, bless their hearts, still do). But the tide is turning, especially for men. From red carpets to street style, men are rocking minimalist outfits that continues to prove that less can definitely be more. Last week was a prime example—it felt like a collective vote for the normalcy (and frankly, the awesomeness) of a simple, well-put-together outfit. This trend has been brewing for a while, and it’s about time it gets the spotlight.

The Looks

Lewis Hamilton arrived at the Hungarian Grand Prix circuit exuding effortless style in a Tommy Hilfiger ensemble. The Formula 1 superstar opted for a brown knitwear vest paired with matching brown pants, creating a cohesive and polished look. His choice of brown leather boots with rhinestone detailing added a touch of glamour, while his sunglasses and leather tote completed the ensemble with a sophisticated edge. Hamilton’s outfit perfectly balanced comfort and elegance, making a stylish statement ahead of the race.

Colman Domingo took NYC by storm during a press day for his upcoming movie “Sing Sing,” showcasing two chic looks that highlighted his versatile fashion sense. First, he donned a silky Bode suit set over a red Cuban collar shirt, ideal for the summer season, and paired it with black loafers for a sleek finish. Later, Domingo switched into a Rhude double denim outfit, featuring a denim button-down shirt tucked into denim pants, layered with a grey blazer. Also, he completed this look with a pair of white loafers, demonstrating his ability to seamlessly transition between sophisticated and casual styles while maintaining an effortlessly chic appearance.

Jacquees was spotted turning heads in a vibrant Louis Vuitton ensemble, featuring an orange mini varsity blouson jacket over a pair of stylish jorts. He complemented his outfit with Louis Vuitton × Nike Air Force 1 low white royal sneakers, adding a sporty yet fashionable touch. Jacquees accessorized with a Louis Vuitton belt and a mesh signature cap, showcasing his affinity for the luxury brand. His bold use of color and high-end pieces made for a striking look that perfectly captured his unique fashion sense and confident style.
