Come rain or sunshine, style is something that can never be gotten rid off. It evolves with the times and changes with the seasons. Style is also something many male celebrities in the fashion and entertainment industry across Africa have mastered as we’ve seen them dress up in bright hues and bold patterns in interesting ways. Last week was not an exception. Latest men fashion style 2020.
There was an obvious preference for suits––striped suits as the gents styled the look in both classic and contemporary style. Sporty looks were also a clear fave as usual. Reppin’ for Nigeria, singer Wizkid was vision in white tones while former BBNigeria housemate, Prince Nelson Enwerem served an elevated athleisure look.
South African fashion designer, Rich Mnisi went the bougie route with his getup. The adventurous creative wore a white turtleneck top with a pair of sequin pants which looked like something from the disco era. He layered a striped white and black trench coat over the look and elevated the ensemble with a pair of 2-inch black heeled leather boots. He wasn’t done. He took the ultra-modern look higher with a white tote bag and a complementing pair of white sunglasses. Safe to say we had a whole class on menswear accessorizing with his look.
From intrepid patterns to striking colors, contemporary dapper ensembles to avant grade looks, male celebrities and influencers across Africa did them all last week and gave us reasons to be inspired.
