Half-Kenyan, half-Nigerian male model – Ikwen Akomaye – self-christened Kwen Maye is a name and a growing force worth reckoning with. Kwen, or Manikween, as he is popularly known in the fashion and modelling scene and on social media, got his start as a runway model before going on to win Mr Runway at the Model of Africa Male Pageant. In 2011, he was voted as the Face of FAB Magazine and has since gone on to walk on some of the most coveted runways in Nigeria, Africa and around the world, ultimately featuring on the cover of GQ South Africa.
Kwen Maye is easily considered one of the top male models in Nigeria and a source of inspiration for models and fashion lovers. His ability to strut his stuff on a runway like his life depends on it, his professionalism, creativity and remarkable personal style has earned him the admiration of many. 
He has since grown from just a runway and editorial model to become a stylist, model-scout and social media director and he is constantly evolving, showing new layers to his creativity as the days pass by.
