The Victoria Secret brand is huge and it holds one of the biggest lingerie fashion shows in the world annually. Every year many models are hopeful that they would be selected as a part of the show which would be a career high of max proportions. As usual, this year the brand has picked a number of top models to walk down its runway showing off the season’s hottest lingerie collection.
As a part of the show, models are sent out on casting calls after which they go over for the audition to see if they would be a part of the iconic show. Already models have begun announcing that they would be walking in the show.
Among the models making their announcements are African top models like Cindy Bruna and Herieth Paul who would be returning for their 6th and 5th years, respectively. First timers include Nigeria’s Mayowa Nicholas, who made the cut last year but due to unforeseen visa circumstances couldn’t make the show and Sabah Koj of South Sudan.
While only 6 African models have confirmed they would be walking the show, we’re hoping (against hope) that there would be more announcements from other returnees and women of colour before the show which is set to hold in November.
