They are so beautiful and colourful, they remind me extra delicious cupcakes! Couturier Giambattista Valli often referred to as the confectionery couturier and master tulle whipper-upper is back with his signature cupcake gowns for Spring/Summer 2017 Couture Fashion Week and we’re totally in love.
The designer paraded his clouds of sartorial heaven – incredibly decadent gowns that span the width (and at times, the length) of the runway in sweetly pastel colors, high low cuts and over the top ruffles. Most of which bared full ballerina-esque silhouettes with sweeping floor length skirts that looked like whipped cream. My favorite which was the canary yellow dress, above all, simply brought sunshine to the runway!
