Christopher Bailey was bombarded with accolades by the industry as he took a bow at his final show. Bailey’s final show was a milestone for him as he dedicated his final show to organizations that support the LGBTQ communities. The spectacle of the show was part performance, part fashion and part laser lightening display.
It of course ended with Bailey walking down the fog-filled runway to a standing ovation by the star studded crowd which included the likes of Kate Moss, Zendaya Coleman, Chelsea Clinton, Sienna Miller and a host of other famous fans.
The show was described as having so much humanity. It was praised for its use of politics, bravery and beauty in celebrating diversity with the use of the colours of the rainbow. The show wouldn’t have been complete without references to the familiar Burberry check, which was worked into a few pieces. Actress and top model Cara Delevingne made a rare appearance and she closed the show by sporting a heavy coloured fur rainbow coat over a with two piece.
