Loewe Joins The Clog Conversation With The Anagram Ease Mule

Loewe has joined the current clog trend that is sweeping the fashion industry. Although clogs have been fashionable for a while—from Crocs to Maison Margiela—interest in them has recently increased. Taking advantage of this, Loewe, the Spanish luxury fashion house that specializes in leather goods, has launched a pair of Anagram Ease Mules in black kidskin leather.

The Anagram Ease Mule, which shares a lot of similarities with Birkinstock’s perennially famous Boston model, is made in Italy from superior kidskin (skin of lambs), and it is given a coat of black paint. Soft tan leather lines the interior of the shoe, and if you find that they are either too loose or too tight, you can easily adjust the buckle strap. The Jonathan Anderson-run label’s iconic Anagram emblem, which has been present since 2014, is displayed on the pair.

Below, the midsole is manufactured from rubber, and the footbed is gently sunken to cushion your feet. The clog is then completed with a textured outsole for more traction and grip when you’re moving.

The Spanish fashion house has surpassed Balenciaga for the first time ever to claim the title of the world’s hottest brand, according to The Lyst Index. Due to its capacity to “capture the imagination of different cohorts of customers” and its “commitment to craftsmanship and creativity,” searches for Loewe have climbed by 19% over the last few months. Given that everyone from Brian Cox to Drake loves the label, this shouldn’t be all that surprising.

The Loewe Anagram Ease Mule in black is available now on the Loewe website and a few select stockists around the world. In addition to being revealed in “Olive,” they cost $1026 (£795), and further colorways are anticipated to be unveiled very soon.
